Tsadae Neway (presently not taking Clients)

As a sacred cultivator, I have been learning ways of birth-keeping and holistic wellness since 1995, when a portal opened to facilitate my healing and transformation through wise ancestral and traditional practices honoring the earth and all life. For the past 25 years, I have taken on many roles to support birthing bodies and their families including: childbirth education, prenatal and postpartum bodywork, full-spectrum Doula services, home birth, plant medicine work, and plant-based chef offerings.  Curating safe spaces for BIPOC womxn is a passion and fuels my inspiration to continue to serve. I facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.  As a Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle PractitionerI guide individuals and groups to elevate their practices of wellness.

MY embodiment and passion as a movement artist is inspired by folkloric dance traditions of the African Diaspora, yoga, and da yen qi gung, which I integrate into my practice. I am a certified massage therapist and instructor, specializing in Prenatal and Postpartum massage, Deep/Soft tissue work, Breema, Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Emotional Release, Acupressure, Ashiatsu, Neuromuscular therapy, and Sealing Ceremonies.

I am also grateful to be a mother of three incredible children, my most devoted service of all.  I love to be in nature, to hike, garden and cultivate her maker skills.

Krista Hayes - (She/They)

I believe that everyone deserves to feel supported, valued, and celebrated as they embark on their pregnancy journey. As a mother of two and wife, I personally understand the importance of having a community during this time. I found out I was pregnant during June 2020, what was considered the height of the Black Lives Matters movements and the pandemic. As most of us were at home, I was constantly being hit with headlines of Black women dying from complications related to pregnancy. Even though I wanted my baby, I was feeling lonely and scared as a pregnant Black woman in the United States. I eventually was connected to BelovedBirth Black Centering. At the time it was a new program and I didn’t know what to expect. I found it to be a big help by providing me with support and community that I needed. I feel so honored to be a former Beloved participant and to now be a Doula serving Beloved participants.

As a Doula, I am humbled to be part of the intimate and empowering birth journey of my clients. I am currently in school studying to become a Lactation Consultant and a Registered Dietician, as I believe that nutrition plays a vital role in one's development and wellness. I lead my care with evidence-based information that empowers you to make informed choices. I make sure to hear you out and show respect for your thoughts and feelings. My love language involves acts of service. Caring for others and my community is what drives me forward. I'm excited to meet you and to support you on your journey.

Bria Bailey

I am a double mastered health equity researcher, community birthworker, apprentice midwife, mother, and dancer. As a birthworker, I center my care around the collective liberation of Black and Indigenous communities by co-creating joyous experiences during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys and by upholding the ancestral traditions of the Granny Midwives of the South. I believe that birth is a sacred event and am grateful to offer my support as an innovator operating at the intersection of science and spirituality.
